A Thousand Oaks couple were sentenced to 10 years in prison on Monday for defrauding banks and cheating home buyers and investors.
U.S. District Court Judge Manuel L. Real called Terry Tucker, 65, a financial predator and Sonya Tucker, 65, a danger to others as he handed down the sentences, which include 5 years probation.

Alaska agrees to $10M abuse settlement

The Catholic Diocese of Fairbanks and representatives of almost 300 alleged victims of clergy abuse have agreed on a settlement of almost $10 million.
